Privacy Statement

Collection of information for the survey is being undertaken in accordance with the Northwest Territories' Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act (ATIPPA) and the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). The confidentiality of any information collected is protected under the provisions of the Acts.

Any information obtained from each household is processed, stored, and used in a form that does not permit any particular household to be identified. Your contact information will not be shared with anyone for any other purpose outside of this survey. Your contact information will not be included in the survey dataset delivered to the City of Yellowknife.

Canadian-based research firm R.A. Malatest & Associates Ltd. is conducting the survey data collection under the direction of the City of Yellowknife and with the highest standards of the protection of privacy and confidentiality. Click here for a link to the firm's Privacy Policy.

Your information will be retained for at least 12 months after conclusion of data collection. If after completing the survey you wish to withdraw your consent to collect your information, please contact Richela Solatorio, Community Engagement Advisor, City of Yellowknife, rsolatorio@yellowknife.ca, 867-669-3413. After 12 months, we will delete your personal information from the data.
